Dr. Glenda Swinton Williams is a highly disciplined business professional and a trailblazer for women in business. Combining expertise in professional leadership development and business strategy, Glenda works with business professionals to provide essential resources aimed at educating entrepreneurs and supporting the growth of businesses and individuals alike.
She is the founder and contributing Liaison Officer of Artist Management for MEG Enterprises, founder of the Unlimited Mind of Freedom Nonprofit Organization, Certified Financial Wellness Facilitator, founder of the Elouise S. Moody Foundation, sought-after project manager, solutions provider, philanthropist, and reliable consultant to various businesses in Georgia and South Carolina.
A native of South Carolina, Glenda has been ambitious and determined from a young age. Raised in the “Bible Belt,” she began singing in church at age seven and progressed through different choir levels as she grew. She launched her career in the entertainment industry as a singer, songwriter, contract negotiator, regional concert promoter, and tour coordinator, upholding family traditions. Glenda later ventured into the radio industry as an investment partner and marketing strategist with IBNX Radio.
Glenda also served as co-director for MTV’s series True Life: “I’m In a Long Distance Relationship” and has written and directed various plays and dance productions at Georgia venues, including The Fox Theatre, Cobb Energy Center, The Villa Christina, Georgia Tech, as well as at local schools and church assemblies.
While working in entertainment, Glenda expanded her business pursuits to include roles as a Residential and Commercial Mortgage Broker, Real Estate Investor, Financial Wellness Speaker, Electronic Health Records Consultant, Analyst, and Implementation Specialist. She attended Benedict College, Horry Georgetown Technical College, and Kaplan University, majoring in Business Administration, Business Management, and Computer Science, respectively. She also studied the basics of real estate at ReMax of Atlanta Real Estate School. Additionally, Glenda served in various health facilities as a certified Health Information Technology Educator and certified Electronic Health Record Software Trainer.
Glenda has found fulfillment in community service, having served as Councilwoman Williams. Recognized for her contributions to women’s entrepreneurship, she was inducted into the 2007-2008 “Who’s Who Registry for Women of Excellence.” In 2010, she worked with Representative Billy Mitchell and the Obama Administration on healthcare initiatives. Over the years, she has received numerous awards, including an Employer Recognition Training Award from DeKalb County Workforce Development, a Certificate of Recognition Employer Job Training Award from Jewish Family and Career Services, the Loris Middle School Mentorship Award, The B.L.A.C.K. I AM Giving Award, the Dr. Travis Jennings Abraham Award, and The Harvest Tabernacle People’s Choice Award for four consecutive years.
In 2023, Glenda received both the AIFM Film Giving Award and the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award, followed by an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Christian Humanities from the School of the Great Commission Theological Seminary Bible College, recognizing her philanthropic and multifaceted contributions.
In July 2024, Glenda was honored with a State Proclamation from Georgia Senator Donzella James and House Representative Segun Adeyina. She received several prestigious awards, including The Living Legend B.L.A.C.K House Award, the 2024 Giving Is Leadership Humanitarian Award, the BLACKWOOD Worldwide Entertainment Industry Life and Light Humanitarian Award, and a BLACKWOOD Worldwide Entertainment Industry Life and Light Humanitarian Medal. She was also awarded a Presidential Lifetime Achievement Pin, inducted as a B.L.A.C.K Kings and Queens Worldwide Inductee, and presented with an Induction Banner. These honors reflect her lifelong commitment to leadership, community impact, and humanitarian efforts, as well as her dedication to making a meaningful difference through light and hope.
Currently, Glenda is an active member of the ASCAP Writers and Publishers Association, a former member of Harvest Tabernacle Ministry, and a current member of Secure Foundation Ministry. She has been happily married for over 30 years and is a dedicated mother. Glenda is also a proud grandmother to seven wonderful grandchildren.
